Consensus Getting Started
InSync Consensus brings financial data and consensus estimates directly into Microsoft Excel. Here is how to get up and running.
Use this page to enable the InSync Consensus Excel add-in, sign in, and insert your first financial data and formulas.
Set Up in Three Steps

Open the InSync Consensus Tab
After the add-in is installed, an InSync Consensus tab appears on the Excel ribbon. Its buttons are grouped into Modeling and Research and Tools.

Sign In
Click Profile to open the task pane, then enter the username and password shared with your subscription. You stay signed in until you select Logout or automatic logout after 30 days.

Insert Your First Data
Use Insert Data to build a data sheet for a ticker, or Insert Formula to drop a single value. You can also type a custom function directly, for example
=INSYNC.IAD_OFJ("AAPL", "2025", "IS_P_101", "CD").
What Is on the Ribbon
Consensus Library
Browse consensus models and research, with broker revisions and dynamic API access.
Insert Data
Build a full data sheet for a ticker with actuals, InSync estimates, and broker estimates.
Insert Formula
Insert a single data point as a formula for a ticker.
Refresh
Re-pull the latest values into a sheet or workbook.
Unlink / Relink
Convert formulas to static values and relink values into a sheet or workbook.
Audit
Inspect the source of linked cells.
Profile
View and manage your account and session.
Logout
End your session.
